Every piece we make starts with a conversation, not a warehouse shelf. Someone tells us their band size runs small in one brand and large in another, or that they've never found a bridal set that didn't need alterations, or that they just want to understand what they're actually paying for when something is made to order instead of pulled off a rack. This Journal is where we start writing those conversations down.
What this space is for
We're not adding a blog because every store is supposed to have one. We're adding it because the questions we answer one-on-one, over email and in fittings, are worth answering in public too: how to actually measure your own bra size without guessing, what changes in fit after weight loss or pregnancy, how to care for lace and silk so they last, what to wear under a backless dress, and what "made to order" really means for how long something takes to reach you.

- Occasion guides for the moments people actually write in asking about: weddings, honeymoons, anniversaries, backless dresses

Why everything is made to order
We don't hold finished stock. Every piece is cut and finished after it's ordered, sized to what you actually tell us, not to a standard run of small/medium/large that was decided before anyone knew who'd be wearing it. That means occasionally waiting longer than a same-day warehouse pick. It also means less waste, fewer markdowns of pieces nobody wanted in that size, and a process built around one order at a time instead of guessing what will sell. We'll go deeper on what that process actually looks like, and how long it realistically takes, in its own piece soon.
Who's writing this
This Journal is written by Lioness Studio, the people who fit, cut, and finish what you see in the Lingerie collection. When we reference a specific style, a bra, a pair, a piece from the garter and belt line, or something from our Bridal edit, it's because we've handled it, not because it's a stock photo pulled to illustrate a point.
